Create an endowment:
You may wish to endow a scholarship fund (minimum principal of $100,000) to help women secure a college degree for generations to come.  

Make a legacy gift:
As you consider your estate plan, please consider including a legacy gift to JFEW. Bequests and other forms of planned gifts enhance JFEW’s ability to help women striving for an education as a pathway to a more hopeful future. 

Through your will or trust:
Designate JFEW to receive a specific bequest or a percentage of your estate. You may also designate JFEW to receive all or a portion of your residuary estate, after provisions for your named beneficiaries are met. An attorney can assist you.

From your retirement plans:
Simply update the beneficiary designation form filed with the custodial institution of the plan to designate JFEW as the beneficiary of an IRA or any other tax-deferred retirement account. These forms are generally available online.

Life insurance policies:
JFEW may be named as both owner and beneficiary of an existing or newly acquired, fully paid, policy.

Bank and brokerage accounts:
These accounts may be set up to be transferred to JFEW at a future date.

Donor-advised funds:
Donor-advised funds are not allowed to donate directly to private philanthropies, such as JFEW. If you have a donor-advised fund and wish to support JFEW, please contact Rona Sheramy, JFEW Executive Director (rsheramy@jfew.org) for instructions on how to make a donation to JFEW’s donor-advised fund.
